I posted here a few months ago about a client of mine being chased by Getty for €1600 for copyright infringement arising from an image that I used from one of your templates.

Bob Visser responded as attached.

After a period of silence, we have heard again from Getty who still maintain - rather aggressively - that my client owes them €1600.

Is it possible for me to have a copy of the agreement that you reached with Getty, or at least some more specific identifying references than Bob provided, to enable me to fight off Getty, please?

I sent the agreement to the email address we have on file for you. You will see that Getty expressly discharges 3rd parties. If you can send me the correspondence you had with them, I will contact them as well.

Well, I got the Getty letter yesterday. I have taken the images down, but would appreciate a copy of the agreement as well.

What template and/or images are you talking about? Be nice to know if I'm passing those around ...

You need to open a support ticket for this issue, this is a user to user forum so no one here will be able to really tell you much unless someone from the staff just happens to pop in like Bob did back 4 years ago.

I'd like to know which template it is. Is it the same one (same image) in both cases, or is it more than one template?

I'd be curious to see if other stock photo companies have it for sale as well...then tell Getty to go after them first!
It's not unusual to come across the same image at different stock sites. Seems it would be on the photographer to know if it's OK to sell to more than one company; for example, if Getty purchased his image, can it still be sold to istock?
