OK, two jpg files attached, the first has the HTML Tool Box, the second has the Add Files Tool Box and the resulting View output.

Hope this finally works...

So, under the heading of "give enough monkeys enough typewriters," I figured out why this didn't work for me. I did a copy and paste from the website and apparently this caused an extra space to be generated in the second and third lines of both the static and slideshow sample HTML code.

The blank is between the left carrot and the word script, as follows:

< script src="backstretch/jquery.backstretch.js"></script>
< script>

I removed both blanks and the script worked perfectly!

Sorry for all the hassle with trying to get the files with my code to you...

Thanks,

Elmer

OK, now that I'm past my original problem, I have a problem with the transparent.png (I used Adobe Elements 10 to create the png).

In the VSD page properties tool I checked the box for background image and selected the png file. But in the VSD editor it displays a large black rectangle. When I add normal black text, it disappears, but it shows up as expected in Preview.

Is there a trick to get around this, or does my png file need to be created in another editor?

As ever, thanks,

Elmer

pngs and gifs will always have the black surrounding in VSD. It wont show when published. It's there for positioning purposes.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

But it's a solid black rectangle, so how do I add text, graphics, and etc. if I can't see how it looks until I use Preview?

Place your textbox over the top of the image.
