so i upgraded to VSD 5.9 and when i view it on other browsers the layout is all off and my website looks like a mess.

is there a simple fix for this? i hardly know anything about html but if i was given a code that would fix it i know how to copy/paste if it is something simple like that.

or do i need to re-do the website instead of just uploading it to the newer version and would that even help b/c that's a lot of work.

looking thru browsershots, they basically look pretty good to, I don't have alot riding on my sites but you look good in opera, I.E.7-6-5 Firefox, safari, do you know what the people are using to view your site?

no, i don't.

so am i worrying about it for nothing,lol. it's just that as an artist i want, make that need to make a good impression not only with my work, but the appearance of my website if you know what i mean.

sorry, I looked again and my opinion is leave it be, you have the majority of them the browsers looking good. just my opinion but I see nothing wrong. what browser are you using? what OS ? maybe someone else will see what you see. Sorry I'm not much help. ok didn't see 8!
are you using sp3? or sp2?
well as an artist(you) I cn understand where your coming from, but I would just let it go until your start getting complaint, I'm sure your nit picking(no offense) but it does look great and to us plain joe's and Jane's looks perfect. My opinion. but we'll wait and see what other input you get rom here to.

i use windows xp w/ sp2 and IE7. everything looks great on my end but when i went to get a critique over at bravenet forums where i have my hosting i was told my website was a mess. so that's when i panicked and thought everyone wasn't seeing what i was seeing especially since it didn't look the same on my sis' computer.

It all looks the same to me in FF3, IE6, & IE7. Not quite sure what it's supposed to look like, but calling it a mess might be an exaggeration. Looks pretty good to me.

Tracee, I read your other post and had a look at the browser shots. In all recent, or fairly recent, browsers your site looks ok. I wouldn't worry so much about the outdated ones, there can't be a lot of people using them. The same goes for some of the OS-es. Some of them I hadn't even heard about, and I have been dealing with computers and the internet for the better part of 20 years.
