I need to copy the vnu and associated files to dropbox for someone else to edit, but the image pathing is looking for the image files on my hard drive and the other person sees nothing but green boxes. Is there a way to do this without having to relocate every single image?

That will not work easily with VSD. Images added to VSD always remember their original file path. When opening on the new computer, those paths will be different which is why you get green boxes. What you can do is use File > Save As and save it to a new folder. When they open the site and make changes, they also need to use File > Save as.

Honestly if you want to edit it multiple locations, using the HTML Editor would be a far better choice.

Create a specific folder ( ie: c:\mywebsite1\graphics ) and place all your graphics for your web site in that folder. Then create your web site, using those graphics. Then you will be able to zip it all up and send it to someone. They will have to place that graphics folder in the same place on their computer. But it should work.

I haven't been able to do it any other way. Not practical if you have a large web site already finished, but if your site is small, or you are just starting out, this is the route to take.

With any future web site you create, I would suggest a specific directory inside where you will store your web site files and put all your graphics there BEFORE you add them to your site. Works really well.

Thanks. I tried the save as before and it worked for me, but my dropbox path isn't the same as his and I don't have access to his network to save as directly. Sounds like relocating all the images is the only option.
