I have deleted a web video player from my site, when I delete the files and save the program, the files return. I need to delete them from the root folder. How do I do this?

Try going into Settings -> Remove Files and check off the files you want removed from the site.

I did this but when I saved and uploaded the site again, the deleted files were uploaded...any ideas?
