I am looking to create a website with the VSD and was wondering if it would be possible to have someone easily edit it from another location. this would be simple editing, like choosing which five pictures are show. for example n a site for rental properties, which rental properties are availiable at that time, changed regularly from another computer. anyone know how i could do this or ay softwware that would help?

You may want to click on profile and change your forum name to something other than your email address.

I am not sure how VSD handles photos, but I will check. If there is a way to find a specific photo on a VSD site, you could have then always name the photos to match VSD, and upload replacement photos.

I will play with VSD and see what I can figure out.

In the mean time, one of the VSD experts may already know the answer.

I did some testing with VSD, and if you are careful to use images the same size, you should be able to make it work.

If you name the first rental photo something like rent01.jpg, and then continue with rent02.jpg, etc. Just pick something and stick with it.

Now when you want them to change the rent01.jpg photo, they pick the photo they want to use and name it rent01.jpg, and then upload it using an FTP program. You may even be able to limit their access to just the files folder with the photos.
