I am doing the site over using Site Designer. When I a attempt to adjust the page size it defaults to something else?

Hiya Wesley,

I don't use VSD so I cannot be sure of what you're doing here, but I wanted to be sure exactly what you mean by it defaults to something else. Are you trying to change things outside of the program and then going back in the program and changing things there and uploading? If so that cannot be done. VSD cannot import anything that you change outside of the program so any changes you make outside of it will be lost and return to the defaults of the settings within VSD. If that's what you meant, then that's most likely what happened.

If that isn't what you meant, please clarify so that myself and others that will help you know exactly what steps you're taking that is making it return to default.

Click on "Page" at the top of VSD.
Now in the properties box that opens to the right select or enter you page size and length.
