Yesterday afternoon my hard drive crashed. Not a good day. I had back-ups of most files, so I moved on. Installed a new hard drive this morning and installed most of the Coffeecup software. I opened a website I had been working on to make sure everything was alright. Most everything worked, except a couple of javascript files requiring a them to be added to the server. I found the files and have been "adding" them to the server for the better part of the last hour or so. They appear in the root of the "add files" folder. I press ok. When I open the folder again, they are gone. What am I missing?

Go to the "Remove Files" and see if they appear there. If they do remove them then try the "Add Files" tool again.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Tried that....files weren't there. I decided to uninstall all Coffeecup software and try again. After removing CC software, I went to turn off computer and reboot. Microsoft was kind enough to want to install 159 updates for the new OS (Windows 7 Pro). I am now waiting for the updates to finish installing. I will get back to you after I am able to re-install the CC software to see if I can use the add files function. Thanks Eric.

I've seen this plenty of times and it's always been the fact that it was listed in the "Remove Files". Not sure what it would be then.:/

Booth, instead of using the Add Files, maybe go to Edit, Edit Header and add them there?
Also, you could go to your hosting control panel and try uploading them from there.

Could you share a link to the site?

Hey Eric and Paintbrush..... thanks for the quick response. After waiting for 159 freakin' Windows updates to load, I re-installed VSD and everything is now working. I am not sure whether a new copy of VSD or the windows updates solved the issue, but at least those who face the same problem may use the information to their advantage. By the way, the website in question is housed on S-drive. The address is http://www.susiekatesdesigns.com. My adventurous wife has been making these hats for years and donating them to a local children's hospital for kids with cancer. Earlier this year, she was asked to make one for a friend. The result was stunning, and the demand for more overwhelming. So she started to display some of her work locally. Now she can't make them fast enough. She enjoys doing it, and I am proud of her efforts. Now if I could just learn how to use the HTML Editor.......
