Operating with Win XP - No problems in the past with VSD, except when a new version comes out, there is always a glitch

This is what is happening - I cannot update my webpages, because when I go to upload, VSD is taking the absolute path, and BUILDING that actual path...
Obviously that won't work

Since my home directory
is:
/usr/local/etc/httpd/clients/marylandchill/htdocs, I try and upload my files, and they go here instead:
/usr/local/etc/httpd/clients/marylandchill/usr/local/etc/httpd/clients/marylandchill/htdocs
Here is the dialogue I get when I test the internet connection with VSD:
Under TEST:
Server, logon, folder creation, uploads, downloads, file deletion, folder deletion - all OK.
Under Log:

Halp! The first path is the one I put under "SETTINGS" for the "WWW Folder" *sighs*
Why is VSD making a duplicate of the folder it needs to put stuff into?

PS this happens every time - I have updated webpages, just can't get them into the correct place for some reason or another - any ideas???
