Is it possible to upload only one page of a multi page site using VSD? Sometimes I want to only make a change to one page and the program re-uploads the whole site. Can I select a single page to upload only?

The last few versions of VSD upload the html files and only files that have changed (images/videos/etc), so it's much faster than when it uploaded everything. If you haven't upgraded recently, I'd try that first. I don't think there's anyway to only upload one html file though.

Thanks for responding. I believe that I have the latest version, (Version 5.9.4). I was pretty sure that is what was going on but wanted to make sure I was not missing something.
I would still like the option to just upload a single page because sometimes I may make a small change or tweak to an already uploaded page from a different program or from the web site interface. If I then make a change from VSD to a different page, it's going to overwrite my tweak.
Not a big deal, but would still like the option.
In 5.94 only the changed pages are uploaded. After your first upload, if you make only a change to 1 page, only that page will be uploaded.

Right. I understand that. But like I said, if one of the pages was changed outside of VSD, then the next VSD upload will change it back. The option to upload selective pages would eliminate that
Scott,
You said that VSD 5.9.4 only uploads modified html pages. Well, I just recently added photos using CC photos software and this is about 100 pics. It uploaded for some time the first time which is expected. Then when I made a change to a "different" page, the upload time was just as long as when I added my photos. VSD was uploading all the pages.
How about having a pull down menu for uploading and the choices for that could be "MODIFIED PAGE(S)" and "ALL PAGES"?
Please correct me if I am not understanding something about uploading only the modified pages.
Because of my photos section, my upload time when modifiying other pages is much longer than it really should be.
Thanks

It depends on how you added the Photo Gallery to VSD. If you used the Add Flash Tool, it will only upload the changes but if you used the HTML Tool, it will probably do what you described.

Actually, what Eddie the Fly suggested would be an interesting feature. Being able to decide which pages upload and which don't would add a nice level of control to the process.
Scott.
I used the Add Flash tool to add my photos. The fact still remains that each html page is still uploaded even if I make the smallest change on a page (like spelling).
It would be great to have a feature that we can upload only the individually "modified" page(s).

Didn't an older version of VSD have the option to 'upload all' or just 'upload changed pages'? I seem to remember that unless one selected 'upload all', one have problems.
I have an inferiority complex - but it is not a very good one.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
