I am using the most current version of VSD. When I upload everything goes fine until a couple minutes in and it will hit an image file and freeze...timeout and I get a message error occured during upload.

Every time it is a different image file. I have uploaded this site a hundred times before and all of a sudden this problem started I do not know what I am doing different or why this is happening.

This is occuring on several pages sometimes missing 4-5 images due to this error.

Like I said I have never had this before and have uploaded and updated this site a hundred times before and never had this.

Please help.

There's been at least a few others sharing similar issues, but those who haven't had the problem can't seem to find out why. Scott started a thread with a survey of questions to help troubleshoot the problem. Unfortunately, only a couple have filled it out. The more input, the better. Here's the thread:

I have a feeling others feel the same way. The irony is that fix will take longer since no one is helping out.

If the uploads are getting hung up consistently on a certain file, perhaps tracing back to whatever files may have been added recently. Have you tried the re-sync option to see if that helps? You can manually upload files through another FTP program, but when it comes down to only uploading what's changed, it's a bit more manual work (I'd probably do full uploads every time if the site isn't too big).

It seems to be just random image files. The only thing I have added recently is a simple jpeg but I do that all the time and it isn't even the file it is getting humg up on...atleast I don't think it is. I'll double check.

It is just a jpeg icon its matching set has been uploaded a hundred times.

Eric, I see no red X when viewing the site. Either you have to clear your cache, or you have already fixed the problem...

I just clicked the passive button under advanced settings and successfully uploaded the site.

Hopefully it is fixed...thanks for the replies.
