VSD Upload Error - Post ID 221463
Hi there,
I keep getting an error some way into my upload of the website. The website will upload for some time before this happens, maybe half way through then it will pop up with an error message.
I have turned my firewall off and it still happens. I have also checked and unchecked passive mode with still the same result, I havent experienced this problem before.
Any ideas or resolutions?

Hiya Damian,
For errors and issues with the software functioning you should really open a support topic rather than posting here on the User to User forums. Although we can usually help with lots of things, unfortunately software issues aren't part of them.
You can get to the support room by using the menu at the top. Just mouse over Support on the Menu and choose Your Support Room.
Good luck!

Damien, one thing to check for...
Watch the file names as it's uploading and note what file it was on when it fails. Then go to your site files and see if there's something wonky about it...or if it's missing. If you've moved stuff from it's original folder, VSD won't be able to find it during the upload.
If it's an image or graphic item, you might just need to delete it from your VSD site, then re-insert it.

Paintbrush.... and wouldn't it be nice if VSD kept that dialog box open when it displays that @#$! error message!
That way you wouldn't have to do another upload and sit there and watch!

rab, you don't know how many times I've sat with my nose in the screen watching all that tiny text fly by to catch the file causing the hang-up (usually a missing photo).
