I have DirectFTP and find myself wanting to edit web.config on some client websites, but for some reason 'Edit file' is greyed out preventing me from doing so.
Can anyone shed some light on why? Is it intended behaviour? Can I change it easily? The file is a normal text file designed for human reading and editing...

ps. I can edit other file types such as .css or .html with no problem
More diagnostic information to save people asking:
I have the latest version - Version 6.9, Build 2004.
It doesn't appear to be a permissions problem, the file has permissions of '---------', just like other files that I can edit.

I just tested on my server by placing a file with the exact same name and I can edit it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
