I am using version 16.1

Whenever I use the Insert Line Break button, or the keyboard shortcut SHIFT+ENTER, it adds <br>

Why doesn't it add <br /> ?

If I open the Add/Edit HTML Tag Markup window, it shows Element Start: <br />

But it adds it to the document as <br>

This is a very small niggle, but I'm curious if there is a way to change this behaviour or if that's just how it is?

In HTML <br> should be used. <br /> is for xhtml.
