My current web site developed with HTML Editor needs a re-write and this is where I would like to get some feed back from this forum which has been extremely helpful in the past. The fact that I have a website (www.medset.ca) developed by myself with my limited knowledge level is testament to this, and how easy CC is to work with.
I have purchased HTML Editor ver. 15.4 and did plan to rebuild myself but time restraints is an issue. If I decide to contract this out I want to be able to manage updates (bi weekly) myself. I realize a second copy will have to be purchased.
Comments?
Is this a reasonable approach?
Suggestions?

Nowadays a site will have to be responsive (adapt to any screen size). That can be done in HTML Editor if you know how to do it. It would be easier to achieve responsiveness with e.g. RSD, and that means building from mobile up. Some learning curve, but we are plenty of nice helpers here in the forum
BTW, a CC programme can be installed on up to three computers for your own use. If you need to install it on more than three, then you need another license.

I agree with the nice people on here based on my first web site.
With RSD (Responsive Site Designer) can I use the pages from my previous site, text, brochures, that sort of thing or is it a complete rebuild?

It will have to be a rebuild, since you will be starting with a phone size screen width. But you can reuse chunks of your old site by copy/pasting.
To understand how to get around in RSD, I recommend this site: https://foundation-framer-tutorials.com/tutorials.html
It has been made by Wayan, one of the keenest helpers here.
