Are you using the built-in FTP in HTML Editor, or the stand-alone DFTP?

You could also ask your web host, Dreamhost, if they can help. Maybe they are able to find out why the remote host (theirs) disconnected.

Thanks for the advice but since I can connect using FileZIlla. Dreamhost says it is the HTML editor FTP problem.

I confirm! I had the same problem, and DreamHost told me the same thing.

That is what they all say.

But I asked a question in my previous post, which FTP client was being used? The question was not answered. The one built into the HTML editor has fewer transfer protocol options than the stand-alone DFTP.

No. I only have problems with the internal FTP client HTML Editor.
I have no problems with other FTP clients.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
