Using Win 11. HTML Editor

I have an inconsistent glitch in the Find feature ("No results found) I cannot figure it out. Sometimes it works just fine. But all of a sudden, it won't find anything, no matter what changes in the menu are selected. And the glitch will happen during the same editing session.

When it's working I can use the F3 button to find the next entrance for the same word, and it works fine.

And then I can open a css page or an index page, open the Find function, see the word on the page, enter that word, and it still won't find it. ("No results found)

I remember to click on the open page before engaging the Control+F function. Still "No results found".

Is there a chache memory limit to the Find function? I wouldn't think so since its just .txt. I usually have two files (index and css main) open at the same time, and when it works, it works just as expected. And then the next time I call the function, it stops working. I get the "no results found" message.

There's also a curios warning that arises when I try to open (double click) one of the CSS files. It's one of the "min" files, and the warning is something about this file containing more xxxxxx number of words (or characters) and so I have never been able to open it, even if it's the only file I'm trying to open at the time.

How many times to I have to slap my forehead to get the Find to work?

The Find feature has always worked well for me. But be aware that if a word or an HTML entity is divided into two lines due to a line break, the program doesn't see that as the same word without the line break.

As to 'min' JS or CSS files it's a very long time since I've tried to open them in the Editor. I know that the program may have problems with them, don't remember any error messages, though. If I need to open one of those min files, I go to this wee tool: https://unminify.com/ first, and afterwards the Editor has no problem with opening the files.

When you have done your editing, you can re-minify your files with this tool: https://htmlcompressor.com/compressor/

Perhaps I'm the only person who makes the following mistake, but I sometimes enter the search term followed by immediately pressing the Enter key on the keyboard. When I then click on the 'Find' button it says there are no results, but that is because it is searching for the search term followed by the new line entry, and not just for the intended search term.
