In 2011, for $44, I purchased The HTML Editor (order 17318212). Love the product! My Windows 10 pc crashed and the only resolution was to do a complete reload of Windows 10.
I am now testing out your NEW HTML editor and evaluating whether I want to purchase it. I see some functionality missing in it, that was in the old one.
In the old software, I was able to do File > Upload to Server > FTP Account > My website > public_html > and then I could hover and it would show all my folders of where I was able drop my file in.
In the new software, all I am able to do is File > Upload to Server > FTP Account > My website > (Root)
It doesn't show my sub-folders.
I can successfully connect three different ways to my root folder:
my_domain_name.com
ftp.my_domain_name.com
my_IP_address
But I can't connect these ways:
my_domain_name.com/public_html
ftp.my_domain_name.com/public_html
my_IP_address/public html
It always errors out with 11001: Host not found
Why did it work for me in the old version, but not the new version?
New HTML editor doesn't show...
I think it can be set up as follows -
(a) File > Upload to Server > FTP Account > Add or Edit Servers
(b) Select the server and click on the Edit button.
(c) Click on 'Advanced' near the bottom to expand that section.
(d) Use the 'Manage Folder Bookmarks' section.
