I realize you need meta keywords, description, etc for your main index.html page. Do you need it for all your other pages, and do they need to all match your main page? If not, is it ok that they all are exactly the same?

There is two schools of though concerening this. Some folks say you only need to keyword your index page and others say keyword all your pages.

All my website pages have identical meta tags. you could put only keywords that apply to that page on each page. The important thing to realize is that your keywords should pertain to your site. Otherwise, some search engines like Google, will penalize you for trying to "steal" traffic.

Ok, Thanks, I just made sure my author, description and keywords are all the same on all of my pages.

I guess it's best to do that anyway!
