Just installed the latest version. I was told it is not just an HTML editor but also a Visual editor.

You would think the first thing you want to do would be easy, but no.
How do I get from the HTML editor to the visual editor?

Thanks Don...

Where did you see it was a visual editor?? (or who told you) It has a split screen thingy so you can see a live preview of what you are coding(HTML)

Where you looking for a WYSISWYG editor where you can deag and drop elements onto a cancas and see the results as you work (NO HTML coding needed)

Don, the HTML Editor was a combined coding and visual editor up to about 2010-11, when there was a demand for responsive web design. The app's visual part was incompatible with that and was therefore removed.

Besides, the code that appeared after the users had been switching back and forth between coding and visual, was so entangled and messy that nobody actually was able to assist when help was needed.

In the html Editor you can do split screen editing which is visual. Use f12 key to toggle it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Just to say Don, I had exactly the same experience. I was looking for visual editing. ChatGPT told me that this was available in CoffeCup HTML - so much for AI! I guess I will need to look for another editor.

But you can't edit from the visual side.

Then look at Coffeecup's Site Designer. With it, you can edit the visual.
