All,
I have read some threads here, but none that I would consider definitive in regards to moving Lockbox 3.1 to a new PC.
I have tried a lot of different things to get Lockbox from one PC to another and it is not working.
I can:
1) Run Lockbox from a USB with no issues.
I cannot:
1) Copy the SAME files from the USB on my new Windows 8 laptop and run the program.
2) It shows that it is using the same .pwk file, but no data is displayed
3) I also do not get an Import message.
Does anyone have any ideas? I don't see where this should be that difficult, but when I load it on the new PC, my .pwk information is not being displayed.
Any suggestions?

Try running the software as an administrator, sometimes Win8 will give you problems if you don't do this.
I think you are going about this all the wrong way Jared.
In Lockbox, just use the backup feature already included with the software. Go to the File Menu > Copy program to folder or drive. This will place the EXE and PWK file in any location you specify. You then just take those 2 files to any computer you like.
Version 4 has expanded on that with over 25+ new features and enhancements. If you have not purchased that yet, you may want to. We sent an email to all Lockbox 3 owners a special coupon for that about 3 months ago. Definitely worth the $5 investment.

Ok...so this is what I get for multitasking! - Which is moving files from my old PC to a new one...while watching March Madness!
Scott as always, thanks for the help and helping me understand what my eyes read, but what my brain fails to execute!
I was doing the first part correctly, but the COPY part from the application was throwing me for a loop. I got it now!
As for V.4 - I will put that on my wish list! I saw the emails, but didn't see the need at the time to purchase it...I will probably do that soon! But wait...Easter's coming up so maybe I will find a LockBox Egg on the 2013 Easter Egg Hunt!
Thanks again Scott!
