Been using it for years -- never a problem -- I booted up today, had a warning from Avast anti virus about Lockbox and now it's missing, Is not in the taskbar as always and can't find the program exe in windows explorer. I have been using the free version for 20 years probably and never updated.

I do have a pw.pwk file in my backup -- hopefully that will save me.

WTF happened? This is alarming for obvious reasons. Thanks for assistance.

I did just see it in my Avast scan log -- I clicked restore and exclude so I'll see if that fixes it.

I restored it to the proper folder and tried to start the program, can't find Lockbox.exe with a suspicious item detected.

This is a user to user forum so I would suggest you open a support topic to get assistance for this. Good luck as it does sound like Avast uninstalled it on you. Let us know if/when you get it fixed up though

will the latest version of lockbox handle the pw.pwk file? I'll assume that is the data file or better be because it's the only file left in the folder.
