Initial time delay - Post ID 265683
Is there anyway to delay just the first slide when a slide show initially starts? I don't want the time delay when it loops through, just during the initial page load. Thanks.
I do not see a way to edit the "goto" settings of an autoplay slideshow. You would need to "goto" a different start slide when you got to the end of the slideshow in order to bypass the delay setting of the first slide. Have you considered delaying the slideshow itself on loading on the webpage ? I have not attempted this but there are references to delaying a html element on load out there.
Bootstrap 5 CSS Grid.

Why ?
If it's because the first slide starts loading sort of slowly and you want the slide show to start when all the slides are loaded there s a check box for that "animate on load" in the navigator pane thingy.
If it's not for that then I don't know either

Thanks for the thoughts on this. The reason for this is I am trying to put 2 sliders on the same page and then have them alternatingly flip.
If both sliders are going at the same time and alternating the flipping then why not do it with one slideshow with one slide showing both contents one above the other (or however) and setting the animations of each contents to exactly different opposite animate in and animate out times ? Unless you are locating the sliders in different locations on your page ?

Thank you. I'll look at that and give it a try.
