I have RED and created and am successfully using emails in my WFBs as Confirm and Notifications.
Now, I just want to create emails to mail outside of WFB and just as if I were going to create and send Gmail.
Once in RED and having created the email, what do I do?
Do I need a Campaign?
At Settings General, I try to login to my CC acct: sxxxj.coffeecup.com. I enter password that I use to login to CC.com.
No Campaign name (do I need one?)

I try to Sign In and get error:
Please check that you've entered the correct information . . . or go to CC website to manage acct details.

What am I doing wrong?

I use same username (my email) and proper password when I login to CC.

Should I be using my email name here?

You should be able to use the same as logging into this Forum.

Think I got it.
I have been a CC user since 2011 and my email had been Dxxxx@gmail.com.
Last week I changed password and cleaned up Profile. Email address became dxxxx@gmail.com.

That capital D to small d changed things. All good now. Didn't think email address was case-sensitive.

Normally, email addresses are not case-sensitive, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are as part of a log-in.
