The above is a screen shot of my Responsive Layout Maker Pro. The screen on which it is is set up properly and all of my other applications which are dark (such as Adobe Lightroom) I can read and, indeed, I have just calibrated the screen.

However, what I see on my screen isn't what is on the screenshots in the documentation. Am I missing text somewhere in the right hand pane because clicking on buttons without labels isn't what I would consider productive?

Also when I click on something (I don't know what I have clicked on, sorry), I can see text "Move Grid Item" which appears half on and half off a button entltled 'Divide Column'. Is it supposed to be like that?

My machine is a Windows 7 Ulitmate running on an AMD chip (alas) with an NVIDEA GeForce GTX670 video card with three 24" monitors. The light in the room is fine and I am not getting glare on the screen and, as I have said, I have calibrated the monitors as I do often because of my photography.

Is there any assistance that anyone can give me so that I can get my Layout Maker to look anything like this please.

This is caused by using an unsupported Windows 7 theme (Windows Classic). If you switch back to the default Windows 7 theme, it will correct this problem. You can find instructions here at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind … ktop-theme on how to change your theme.

I think you will find Windows looks much better once you change things back to normal. ;)

We are looking to address this in the software in a later release.

Scott, is this the only solution as the first thing that I do is to move the desktoip away from these dreadful themes?

For example I now can't make out a single icon on the taskbar as they're all covered in a ridiculous glare which, I know isn't your fault, but this the reason why I went to the Classic view because I wanted to get some work done.

I can now see the buttons in your application for which I am grateful but please do fix this because I want to get back a Windows that looks better rather than this Style over Substance feel by Microsoft.

Thanks ever so much.

Hi Malc, You can create your own custom theme in Windows 7. Choose a compatible theme and then customize it to your tastes.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

Brian, thanks but for the time being until there's a fix I will toggle between Classic for when I wish to do normal stuff and then go back to whatever this is for running Responsive Layout.

I hope that this is fixed soon because having to change one's enviroment to suit an application isn't what I would have wanted but I am sure that something will come off the production line soon.

Right, documentation read and I think that I understand the principles so it's time to let rip...

Cheers
