Hello, me again,

I was trying to work on the CSS and the index-file. There is an article "How to edit a website created with Responsive Layout Maker". I think it is not complete, when is says : Step 1:

Open the custom.css file that you created earlier along with the index.html file for reference.
Step 2:
The menu needs an active and hover color applied.
/*SiteWide CSS */.link-text.nav-link.active {
color: #fff;
}
.link-text.nav-link:hover {
color: #fff;
text-decoration: none;
}

For me, it needed some more work before I got it right. My question: is this incomplete indeed, or did I miss something?
I did add the line in my index.html as the article told me to.

Thanks,

Lodewijk.

Hi Lodewijk,

Its very likely you forgot to add the <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/custom.css"> to the Custom mark up of your index page. It would be a lot easier if you posted a link to what you're working on so we can better determine what you are trying to accomplish.

Wow, two senior advisors!

But I made a mistake that is so basic, there is no need for a senior. I tried the instructions on another theme than they were written for...... No wonder it didn't work out as I was expecting!

Sorry and thanks for the support,

Lodewijk.
