Is there an easy way to clear all the...

I have discovered that there are changes in settings e.g. column spans, margins, etc in between specific breakpoints, as I move up and down the Sizer. I understand that an actual breakpoint can be removed, but is there a global "reset" or "clear all" for the whole range? It is difficult to move up and down the sizer and pick up every setting change.
Thanks

What setup are you using Nick? If you're using the CoffeeCup one then you added your breakpoints yourself manually correct? If so you should be able to drag down on them and they will come back off.

If you used the Bootstrap 2 setup then no, those breakpoints are not removable within the program, you would have to alter the code for them manually in order to change those. I have yet to find a site that they don't correspond pretty well to though. I've had to "add" a few here and there, not many, usually a couple per site, but I've never needed to remove them at all. If you're finding places that the site changes just add a breakpoint where it's changing to accommodate that and you should be fine. :)

Thanks, Jo Ann.
I used a template, with the Coffeegrinder DDE grid, but these could well be settings that I changed when the slider was not exactly on a breakpoint, whilst I was trying to figure things out!
From this I am learning that one should always try to ensure that you are on an existing breakpoint when changing settings, or as you said, identify a position where you really need a new breakpoint (instead randomly positioned changes!).

Well this might help for you to know on RLM Nick.

There are no "randomly" positioned changes. If you did not create a breakpoint for changes, then any and all changes you make will be applied directly to the breakpoint that is currently active in the program. In other words, you cannot apply changes to random spots that you have the slider at, it will either be applied to a new breakpoint you create on that spot, or whichever breakpoint is active in that spot. Since most only start with 3 or 4 breakpoints, that means your changes have been applied to those breakpoints. This could be why you're thinking you have issues and need to remove them, in actuality you most likely need to add some is all.

Keep this in mind whenever you're working on a Layout:
Any time that you have the slider moved anywhere between breakpoints, the current breakpoint is always the one on the right of the slider point. So if you have your slider at say 560, then the breakpoint that is current (if one isn't on that exact point that is) is the one to the right at a higher number.

Hope that makes sense, and that might help you understand better how the breakpoints work too. There is no randomness, only specific points and ranges of settings. :)

Therefore, when you are sliding (slowly, very slowly is best), as soon as you see something change that you don't like. That's where you "create" a breakpoint so that anything between that point and the next point to the left will start there. Keep doing this until you have it look exactly how you want it and you'll be fine. If you don't create that breakpoint, just realize that if you changed something, it got applied to the breakpoint range your slider is sitting on at the moment. :)

The top one (at the moment anyways) is something posted by Eric a little bit ago about deleting breakpoints. I haven't tried so I don't know for sure how to remove the default ones or if they are removable, but this link above should help you with the one that's hidden on the right side. :)
