What is this class "sorting"? - Post...
I'm working on a new layout, just started it so I haven't changed many of the classes and ids and was starting to do that and a few of my elements keep appending an extra class tag called "sorting" at the end. I can't delete it, all I can do is remove the element and start it over. But it keeps doing this and I haven't seen it do this before. What's this about?
When I try to delete the "sorting" class tag it always says that class is already applied or something like that.
*EDIT* Sometimes I am finding I can delete the entire class completely and switch to another element then back again and add the class back in there that I was trying to add and it works, so I don't always have to remove the element itself.
*EDIT* Ok never mind, I think it's my computer needing a reboot as it wouldn't let me save it just now either and wiped out the entire work I just did for the past 20 minutes. If it happens again I'll post again.

Yosemite does that. Slows everything to a gronk and sometimes decides not to play at all. Get the feeling apple Mac are just starting to produce error contained software like Microsoft. Watch for the blue lines on the monitor next. My son's machine which is similar to yours got this fault. Very noticeable with a dark background like photoshop. If it happens don't take their smash that it's a software problem because it is not.

What's strange is I recall removing that class from an html page in my last project now that I think about it. That class doesn't exist anywhere in the css or js at all so I'm not sure what that's about. I know it's happened before that way, just never had it show up in the program in the class box before and it even adds it as a 2nd class which we can't even do
Would still like to know what that is all about, the rest as far as not saving and such was most likely just having run too many things yesterday on the computer and it hadn't been booted for a few days.

Ok so I'm on a fresh reboot of the computer, so far no saving issues, but the "sorting" class is back again when I add new containers. What is this class? What's it for and why is it showing up as a second class in my containers?
Can you share you file?

Sure, it's pretty generic and not much in it yet even so can't figure out what is doing this.
Eric (and anyone else checking it out), do keep in mind that I'm on Mac version so I dunno if that matters or not. Right now I think I got all the instances of it off, but it just keeps doing it randomly, but often enough that it's almost every other time or 2 for me.

Did any of those have the sort class when you saved the project?

I think I had corrected them by that time and of course I didn't get a chance to work with it much after I posted so I didn't have any saves to send with them in. I will try to remember to save a separate copy when it happens again and upload it.
I can say that I recall it happening to another project and having to remove the class from the HTML code on the pages.
