A little help with the S-Drive...
There was a CC webpage that allowed me to create a "one-click" website. I did. It worked. It's hosted as:
http://k0rc.coffeecup.com/index.html and is viewable.
Reading through some posts I learned that I can't download that site using VSD because it was not created with my VSD.
Okay, cool... what CC product can I use to download that code to my local machine a begin tweaking it to my liking?

HTML Editor will work perfectly.

Okay, I have CC Direct FTP 6.9 build 2001 setup. I have gained access to the S-Drive and am seeing the directories and files that were created.
I've run into "An unexpected error occurred: -11. [-11]" when I try to download the files to my local computer.
I came back here to search for that message to see what I'm doing wrong...

I couldn't find any reference to that -11 error when doing a full site search.
But I 'fiddled around' a little more and was successful at downloading the site to my local computer.
I'll chalk that problem up to operator error, not having used CC Direct FTP before.
I think I'm set for the moment.
Well, except for launching HTML Editor and muddling my way around another piece of software!
Thanks!

I would suggest also that you keep a copy of what you downloaded in a separate location so you can always copy pages/files/folders from it if needed. This gives you breathing space so you won't have to redownload anything if you mess something up, plus if you upload changes and something is not right you can always copy it back in again and start over.

How do I start building my website?
Eunice, will you be using SDrive? What software are you using to build your site; CC HTML Editor, Visual Site Designer, something else.....? Do you want to use a template or your own design?
