I previously uploaded a site and it worked perfectly. I have done some mods now when I upload I get a message The S_Drive site has changed. I am given the options to change site or manage my account.
change causes VSD to crash. Manage my account takes me to my S_Drive site but I cannot see how to rectify the problem. When I upload to my server I have no problems. I realise it is my use in some way. I checked out Coffee Cup settings and get the verified sign.

Puzzled but not done yet. Going to see if I can delete the previous site and start again.

I've seen this a few times. I close and then restart VSD and it goes away.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

I think you are right as after many restarts yesterday I could not get the site to publish yet today I just started again and it uploaded but painfully slow. I then tried my server and no problems and fast upload.
So the same site uploaded to S_Drive in 4 mins and my server in 45secs.
also my site is http:inkmon.coffeecup.com/site which is a subdomain obviously I then tried a free host and the upload took 1.2 mins.So CC must be experiencing huge server load.

I am using S_Drive to test a site I am building and see whether the hosting is sufficient for our society. I will compare that against the same site on my server also a subdomain at http://las.inkmon.org

We have no server load issues happening here. You are coming from about 25,000+ miles away, so who knows what could be going on. ;)

Is the server you are uploading to quickly also located in the AU?

Had my wedding car site with sdrive now for about 3+ months, i test it often, seems to compete with the speeds i get from my justhost hosting account, in fact if anything sdrive maybe a fraction faster UK.
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement

No Scott, Texas. Ours cost an arm and a leg and National Broadband was an Election Deal Breaker which will also cost the rest of us.

I tried again, much faster 35 seconds could be a provider issue who knows. My Texas host as a comparison took 45 seconds from go to wow. S_Drive won in the Repacharges. It looks as if S_Drive will host our Art Society. With the support you offer I can pass the can ;)

Maybe it had something to do with the message I got what prompted me to start this thread and cleared itself. What I just experienced substantiated Viv's claim. I will put it down to a glitch, gremlin or Sid himself.
It is hard to imagine I know, but I must be magnanimous about it.

I am getting the same problem as in the first post. Got it yesterday and then it cleared up. Can't upload now at all. Very frustrating. It crashes VSD each time. I have tried again and again but to no avail. Well, gotta go to my REAL job now. I'll try again this afternoon.

For purposes of others searching this topic, I opened a support ticket and they pointed me to a fix file. Worked.
