Before I go messing things up..... -...

I bought the Shopping Cart Designer Pro ages ago, and never got around to messing with it. I had already created my website www.harmonymuseumshop.com with Shopping Cart Creator Pro and it's ok, it works and we get sales, but obviously needs to be tweaked a bit.

If I only want to change the size of the images in the categories for each product, do I really just open the "theme" in Designer ( I use Grandpas Shoes), adjust the size of the images, save the theme and then what? When I open the shop file up, will it automatically use the new image sizes in the theme? I'm really nervous about losing all my hard work with the shop already created.

Thanks.

It think there's a maximum image size of 999x999 on the category view.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Go to the theme in your SCCP shopping cart program

Click on the edit button, tiny pencil i think, wait for what seems like ages, and the designer will open.

Click on the section image you want to increase the size of

Now i think its the advanced tab, and then go straight to bottom of page and there is the option to enlarge the image, or thumbnail

Edit the size as required, afterwards when you do save, it makes the change to the template.

Now go back to SCCP and refresh the theme , its next to tiny pencil, you should now instantly see the change happen and when you preview shop, it should be there

HOWEVER, if your original images were installed to small, they may not fill the new size set, or may stretch and distort, so you will probably have to re install the images again.

If in doubt, try saving the template before you start as a new name (template modified 1) it will go into YOUR THEMES

then in SCCP go to your themes and select that one to play with leaving the original untouched, sio you can go back and use it as default.
