I would like to add more space between the image associated with Category 1 on the Home page, and the text for "Category 2" on the Home page.

This is how my shop home page looks right now, and I'd like bit more breathing room between the image and the next category below.

I'm not able to select the "Category 1" text on the home page, which is the only page that I want to make this adjustment on. Any suggestions?

Try the advanced tab and mess with the padding and or margin.

Do you mean the advanced tab for Page Properties? Or...???

I think the Category or the Product Category. Try a little on either of these to see if it helps. I would try Category first.
