Okay, I've done something here. I have a support ticket in but Scott ran me through everything I couldn't think of myself and no help. So, I'm throwing this out to the community in hopes someone else may have seen this...

I open SCDP. Doesn't matter if I load a theme or not. At the top is a row a menu options. If I select 'File' for example, there is a drop down list of other options. Except, in my case, all I have are icons. No text what so ever. The icons work. I just don't know what they are for!

I have uninstalled SCDP, ran ccleaner, downloaded a fresh new copy of SCDP, re-booted the machine, then re-installed the new copy. No help. Just icons. Checked DPI and screen size. Changed just for giggles, then changed back. No good. Just icons.

I'm flat out of ideas and have no idea what I did to get into this slop.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have Hardware acceleration turned on?

Win 7 Home Premium, core i7 with 8GB ram. I'm sure when I first installed, it was working. All other cc programs work fine, including SCCP. It's just SCDP and I couldn't believe it when a fresh install wouldn't fix it! I'm just lost...

There's has to be a reason for it to be only that app having the problems. Very strange.

Have you tired installing it to a new location?

Well, that was worth a try. Just deleted, cleaned, rebooted, and re-installed to a separate drive... no good. Still no text on drop downs.

I did notice that after deleting and cleaning, the SCDP.lic file was still present. I renamed it, and did a re-install. That didn't work either.
