I am a newbie at this, but I have have downloaded the trial of Shopping Cart Designer Pro, in the hope that that I could add sub categories ( Duvet sets, then Single, Double, King,) to my shop, but I am obviously missing something as I cant seem to work out how to do it.
Anybody help please.

SCDP relates only to the design features of the cart program, not its functionality. With that said, the current cart program does not have sub-categories as a feature. However, we are right on the cusp of having the CC Shopping Cart PRO released. That pro version will allow for sub-categories. (So I am told.)

Just to confirm what Eric wrote.
SCD Pro will not create sub categories. SCD only allow you to design the layout of your shop not provide the functionality.
SCC basic allows you to setup categories but NOT sub categories. They have been requested to be a new function in SCC PRO. The Pro version has been going thru extensive beta testing and is close to completion.
Only CC will release a list of new functions in the new pro version.
All we can say is sub category was high on the requst list.

It's in there, just like Prego *waits while you go look up what Prego is and how that pertains to "it's in there"* LOL

BUT!! It's not in the current version of SCD Pro, it will be in the release that comes with the SCC Pro soon!
