Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this is where I should be asking this question but maybe someone can help me. I recently downloaded the trial version of the Coffeecup shopping cart designer pro to dee if I could make my store look more professional. I designed my store and it came out exactly how I wanted and the part that was most important to me was the logo. In the shopping cart creator where you upload the photo for your logo it always came out distorted this is also a reason why I wanted to see if in the Shopping cart designer pro I could fix this problem. Well it looked like the problem was fixed and I decided to purchase the program which I did maybe 10 minutes ago. I exported the store to shopping cart creator and uploaded it to the web. When I went to the site I noticed that the logo is still distorted. How can I fix this? I would like it to look like it does on my main website. If anyone can go to my site and take a look I would really appreciate it and maybe tell me how to fix this. Also, I noticed someone on here posted a url for a store and there pictures are much larger. How do you do this?Thanks in advace!

Hiya Catalina,

Have you already resized it to the size it needs to be or are you allowing the program to size it for you? The best way to do them is to have it already be the size and then have the check box in the option for keeping it the original size ( I can't recall the exact wording, but it's in there somewhere near the bottom of that area of options). This will give you the exact picture as it is already sized without any distortion. I am not aware of any other reasons for distortion so if you are already trying to use it at it's current size and not telling SCD Pro to size it in any way, then hopefully someone else will have some ideas for you.

Thank you! This worked perfectly. Anyone have any ideas how to make the pictures bigger in shop home?

You're quite welcome, glad it worked for you.

The pictures of your products you want bigger? If that's what you mean, then at this time it's not possible, but it is supposed to be possible in the new Pro version that is coming one of these years lol. Soon it should be here and that should help with that issue :)

Sounds good, thank you! I can't wait until they come out with it. I remember getting an email in February saying that it was going to come out and I also asked them before and they told me in March but still no sign. Thanks again!

I edited the default.css file in my html editor

"scs_thumbnail_image" is the thumbnail css, I think it is set 100px by default

I changed mine to 210px.

Here is the line of code to look for:

#scs_productlist .scs_productlist_item .scs_thumbnail_image{width:100px;}

change to:

#scs_productlist .scs_productlist_item .scs_thumbnail_image{width:210px;}

If you edit the file then just upload the file (via ftp program or html editor)

Yes, this was the shop I seen with the larger pictures. Very nice! I honestly do not think I would be able to do this. Unless you can explain it in laymen terms.

I am trying to do this again and it does not seem to work. I have scc and trying to edit the default.css file and it will not work. How come? Is it because I am using a custom shop? Anyone know?

If you edit the css and then republish your shop it will over write your edit.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I changed it to 210px and when I go back to check if it is back at 100px it is still at 210px. Even when I change it at 210px it does not affect my shop at all.
