This is required for SEO and breadcrunbs "Or remove the " home" text under the menu on this page". , you can change text colour so it matches background which will hide it, but i think its in the designer program you do this.

What exact text do you want to remove, i cannot see anything out of place so to speak !

Not knowing this exact template, but i think in SCCP if you double click on a category, or sub category this is one of the descriptions for the range of products

Dbl click on the category in SCCP and remove the description you entered.
