Thanks for that. Yeah, I agree about the strange coding in SCCP. I've found out the hard way!

I was using inline CSS trying to add a table with a border and then put images and text within the table but it was overriding the table styling and text styling. I was however putting the whole code within the [[[ ]]] tags. I wanted to be able to have 3 columns on the page so I could have images in 2 boxes with text underneath in another row and then different content in the 3rd column like signup for my newsletter and stuff like that.

When I tried it on the additional pages tab it all worked absolutely fine but then I couldn't get it to be the 'home page'. I'm not sure why it works fine on the additional page and not the home page - I'm guessing the page is classed as static or something so there's not styling from CC already on the page?

I might simplify things a bit having looked at a few website design guides though.

From my experience of SCCP and VSD home pages

Google tends to find a cart category, rather than my vsd homepages when a specific search is made

(ie) 9ct gold signet rings ; will find a SCCP category page

however 16mm x 13mm 9ct gold signet rings ; will find a sccp product

but a search for delft clay cast signet rings ; will find VSD page, and my video and a SCCP category page, and a list of products.
