I have a lot of books to sell and would like to add product descriptors for Title, Author, ISBN, and maybe others. Can I do this with Cart Creator or Pro?

There is one SKU number setup for the program, the rest you would need to add into either the short or long titles or into the descriptions of the products themselves. If you add it into the title (at least I think it's the main title) it will be sent as part of the item description when you get the info for the order. If you rely on those item numbers to be able to correctly pull your products for shipping then I would highly suggest adding them to the title area. Do keep in mind that the title areas are not very many characters so you'll need to be clever with them. Sometimes I split them up with some words of the title on the first title line and some on the second which can help too.

The SKU numbers I believe are limited to 9 characters, but you can create your own if that helps also.

Other than that there are no other ways to do this. The search feature works pretty good though so if you add those descriptors to the actual content details area of each product, the search feature will pick them up pretty nicely.

This is an old thread but it's what I need help with as well. Does Shopping Cart Creator have this SKU option that's being talked about or is it just in the Pro version? I just really REALLY realized I need this option...

You'll need the Pro version to use SKU's.
