At this time this isn't a built in option of the program. What you can do is create your own links and image links within the details pages yourself. Although it won't be a fast task, it would work just as well. A possibility for sure, and you may want to put a post into the suggestions of the Shopping Cart Creator suggestions area to make sure it's with the rest of the suggestions. I like the suggestion too, would be a great addition, just not sure how easy it would be to add something like this to the program since it is not driven by a database of any kind yet. Guess we'll see where it goes if you go suggest it

Sounds a fantastic idea to me, would be great for the pro version of SCC!

When the pro version is released you will be able to constructively 'up sell' via the new price related options.

For example

Main product - pearl necklace

Option one Necklace plus matching stud earrings (+£xx)
Option two Necklace plus matching dangly earrings (+£xx)

All future features for the pro version have to take into account the simplicity of its structure. Once you start going into database driven programs, then you start to create a whole new load of complexity and ongoing technical problems.

Will I don't think she was talking about making alternate options for the product you're viewing, she's asking if she can put a list of other products on the page that you might "also" like if you're wanting what you are looking at currently: Usually something you find under the main product that says:

If you like this item, you may also like:

Product Linked Picture 1 , Product Linked Picture 2, Product Linked Picture 3, .....

I know exactly what she means Jo Ann. My 'other' cart software uses such a facility

To start incorporating features like that though, you really need to have a powerful sql database tied into the back end. That would involve a massive amount of development time and wouldn't really be a realistic proposition for the pro version.

The pro version of Cart Creator is designed from the outset to be an easy to use solution, that is simple to set up and not needing technical skills to get a shop up on the net very quickly. It is not designed to be competition for the powerful cart solutions out there (or suffer their complexities).
