Can Shopping Cart Creator Handle...
I'm wondering if one can sell downloadable products with shopping cart creator then after the product in purchased through paypal the product is then delivered to the purchaser via email. Either by emailing the download, or by providing a link to the download.
Yes, but I believe that is set up through paypal not the cart system itself.
The philosopher has not done philosophy until he has acted upon the mere conviction of his idea; for proof of the theory is in the act, not the idea.

Hiya Terry,
The SCC doesn't have any built in downloadable setups as of yet. If you're able to do this manually (take the order and then email the product yourself or the product links) then yes it can handle it, but if you're looking for automated downloadable setups it's not in there... yet. It is something that has been discussed for a future addition to the upcoming Pro version of the SCC which will be released soon.

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of SCC Pro, as have many. Is there any ball park idea of when and how much.
Thanks
Charles
Thanks

Not yet Charles, soon is all we know for certain, but that could be anytime since it depends on what all needs to be fixed in it yet from the testing. When it's ready it will be released and we'll see messages all over the site and forums I am sure
Add my name to the list on this one! Yesterday wouldn't be soon enough for me! All we sell are downloadable products. I'll have to find another solution.
Hi
I think you can manage the link to download your product with CoffeeCup Website manager
Example: supplying a link to buyer with a password with short life time. Of course this will be manual.

I bought the product believing that software for creating online shops is not limited to just doing physical good....- After spending $500 i am now stuck with the ability to sell cameras when I sell software. ---- DOH!
hmm Sergei, dunno what you bought but you most definitely didn't by the Shopping Cart Creator for $500.00 lol.
I do know they have talked about plans for future updates of the Pro version to have downloadable goods possibilities, but it will most likely not make it in the first release. Other than that, I guess you'll have to work with whatever $500.00 program it is you bought

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
