Can the "home" heading name be changed to "about us" ? I see how to change the "shop home" "categories" "shopping cart" heading names, but not the "home" heading. I would like to create a link to a site created with VSD that describes our business=about us. On that site would be a return link to the shopping cart created with shopping cart creator. I created a theme with shopping cart designer pro. Is this all possible?

Hiya David,

In order to link to an outside home page you would do that in the setup rather than changing the tabs themselves.

Go to your setups and you'll see the window below and just fill it out accordingly :)

I think he understands all of that but is asking if the text "Home" can be changed to "About Us." I don't think it can be changed, though.

My apologies, I didn't read carefully and fully as I should have. Book is right, it cannot be changed, the only thing you could really do is as I suggested, create the home page outside the shop, and have the menu on that page as you suggested include your shop, and then the shop's home button would go to your external home page. This would then give you leave to link your menu to any pages you like.

The main difference between the two would be the menu (providing you match them up the same that is) as the menu on the shop will still only hold the pages created with the program so if people wanted to get to the other pages of your site they would need to hit the home button, which most people do when navigating to places they don't see on a menu anyways.

Bout the only thing I can think of that would work. You can see this in action on my shop which has the Home, Referrals, About Us and Contact us pages, as well as many functional behind the scenes pages like thank you pages etc., residing outside the shop done in HTML Editor. Site was designed up in SCD Pro and HTML Editor and work pretty smoothly together I think. :)
