Your link to Yahoo doesn't appear to be an actual link. The code should look like this:
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com">Yahoo</a>
I used the "add URL" in SCC and entered "http://www.yahoo.com", I think it should wor like that..

Yes, it should have worked using the Add URL feature. I was able to duplicate your problem. I tried adding a link to the Categories page using the Add URL feature. The address displays but the <a href> code is not generated. CoffeeCup needs to be made aware of this apparent bug. I'd suggest opening a support ticket.
