Hey Guy's / Gal's,

I have the Creator and Designer. Where do I start? Do I create a cart and refine it in designer, or do I design first then create. Which program am I to use to add my own personal touch's? Very confused!

You use designer to make your shop look the way you want as far as colors and general layout. Creator is what you use to add all the items for sale to your shop and then publish. You don't have to use designer to have a shop because you can use a ready made theme in creator. If your looking to make a shop that looks like a current website that you have or are looking to build then designer will be your first course of action.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

Thank you for your reply. I made a site for my wife's Jewelry business when all I had was creator. Now that I have designer i want to spruce it up to where it looks professional, and pleasing. The ready made themes in creator aren't all too appealing, and very limited. The current site is alibeads.com

Thank you for your input, I appreciate your time.

Bill, good starting point from experience with my own jewellery site, see signature, is that designer lets you enlarge the thumbnail images.

if you make them big you end up with say 3 items accross page where the template had originally 4 accross

and if you put an image in behind the products in designer you can get an interesting result

Ambassador,

Very Nice presentation, and advice. I will keep at it and hope to come up with something as nice as what you've created. Thank you for sharing.
