Reginald, I,m also experiencing the same thing that you are. It tried almost everything to even reformating my hard drive and then reinstalled the software again. The same old thing is happening with my shop. The interface/graphics disappear and the add item button will stay gray and not allow me to add anymore images. I hope the programmers will find a fix to it. I am so afraid to start all over and the same thing happens again after I entered half of my shop. All that long hours of work.:(

Darren,
I have wasted 4 whole days and nights trying to get the shop completed, this is my third attempt and it has happened again.
I cleaned up my computer and unloaded any un-needed software before trying the third time.
I am running Windows XP with update 3, have 4G of memory and plenty of hard disc space. I have never experienced a software problem like this one.

I am not able to send the shop to CC that I have created so far by attaching, I think it may be too big at 19M.
Some say it can't be done, while others are doing it.

Darren, your issues revolve around saving your shop twice to the same folder and then moving files from a thumb drive and back. Not sure how you did it but it pretty much hosed it all with whatever steps you took. When copying from computer to computer, you don't want to overwrite the files. It is best to delete the folder and then re-copy it back.

Reginald, you can use yousendit.com and send the files directly to scott@coffeecup.com

Reginald

When you zip it up, just make sure I get all the files. If you have a version that is also corrupted now, send that too. Heck, send me them all ;) We will get to the bottom of it. I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with your system. Once I see the files, we can get a better understanding of what is going on.

Scott,
I have tried a few times to send the files using attached on this forum, however after a long time of sending it seems to have gone, but when I check the post is not there.
Have you another way of receiving big files (19Meg)
Only other way I can think of is to send a zipped file to my website and give you the URL so you can download it yourself.

I have placed the files in a directory for you.

Scott, my shopping cart is cured! (LOL).

This is what happened when I noticed that everything on my CC shopping cart software is working perfectly. Break down to the core problem now.

Problem:

I purchased my CC shopping cart software online on Dec 12, 2008 and developed my online shop store. Everything worked perfect and I was totally happy with the software that I bought from CC. Then suddenly, my computer crashed. I decided that I should reformat my hard drive and buy a good antivirus software to fix the problem(s) for my computer. I assumed that it was a virus that made my computer corrupt or even technical mad. After I reformatted and installed the antivirus program, nothing was wrong with my computer.

Previously, I saved my shop on a jump flash card and thought I may return the same files/shop to my new formatted hard drive on my computer, but it did not work. Everything on my shop got corrupted and all the CC Shopping cart program was ruin. I was never jumping from one computer to the next because I only have one computer at home that has the CC shop program on it. When I reformatted my hard drive it gave my computer another identity.

So anyone out there, do not reformating your hard drive and expect the same folders on your web host file manager to be kind to you. It doesn't work. The way I fixed my problem was that I deleted all my folders and files that were associated with my particular shop that I was previously working with. Make sure you save all your images and descriptions on a backup disk or burn them. Then open up a new shop, cut and paste your descriptions and images back into the new shop. Your web host server will appreciate that.

Scott, that is how I cured my shop problem. OPS!

Hi Scott,
It has been several days and I haven't heard back from you. What did you find?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
