Question:

So I buy this program, can I embed the store onto into my web page, or does the store have to open as a new page of iy's own?

Thanks,

It's designed to function independently. You can link to the store from your site.

Yes, you can link the store from your site and you can design the store to look just like your site so it does not look like the user is going to a completely different place.

Do I need the designer program to make it look like my site, or will the basic cart program do the job?

In order to make it look like your site you will want the designer program. I suggest the pro version, just because it gives you so many editing options. But if you dont have too many graphics then you can get by using the basic version.

You can use the SC Designer Pro to get the store to look similar to your site but you are still working with a template system so it won't be exact.
