Importing item details into shopping...
Can an excel file be imported into shopping cart creator/pro with item details such as price etc.?
Not in the Basic version, but we did add support for importing from a CSV file in the Pro version.

Cool Scott !!!
Scott,
Is there any limitations to the CSV import process? I have a customer with about 3000 items including pics.

That should work just fine.

I currently use CartManager to create my Add to Cart buttons which I have simply added to the pages on a website I've created using Visual Site Designer. This has worked fine, but really is a pain when it comes time to have to edit anything about that product, or temporarily list it as out of stock. CartManager does send me an email letting me know an order came through, but I then download my orders from CartManager into Quickbooks through an .iif file (though it's not extremely smoothe, since I have to tweak the information after it comes in). They do show CSV as a download option also. I would very much like to change my store over to CoffeeCup's Shopping Cart Creator program, since I've loved every other CoffeeCup product I've bought, but it will be an important consideration for me that I can download to QB all the customer's contact information which was gathered in the ordering process, as well as the items/price/shipping costs for that order. Will that be possible with this new CC Shopping Cart Creator Pro version? I had previously purchased the basic program, but it was too limited for what we needed. The newer one seems to have more of the features we're looking for, but I need to be able to download our transactions into QB so they don't have to be entered manually. We use PayPal Website Payments Pro as our merchant processing service, but I've never downloaded anything from there before. Your assistsance in helping me understand how I can integrate all of this in order to save time is greatly appreciated.
We do not store any customer information during the order process. Doing so would require quite a few security precautions that we would have to implement causing the program to become a bit more difficult to setup and manage. We still find it best to allow the merchant to directly handle all this information. You can always log into PayPal for example and download all the customer transaction information at any time and import that into QB.
