I've made my 2 static pages 'policies' and 'bio'. They show up accurately in the footer section; but in the upper nav bar these 2 items are in the drop down under 'shop home'. How can I make them separate links at the top also?

I don't think you can in this version. Some of the themes have theme separate though so if you desperately want that style maybe choose another theme.

I've made a custom theme using SCD pro. Hoping for the cart pro version soon!

Did you make it from scratch Marilyn or base it on a theme?

If it was a theme then once you have done it the first time it is quite quick to adapt another theme to your needs as you know what bits to change.

I had to do that with one of my sites as I discovered the page wouldn't stretch enough for all my items.
