When folks look at terms like handcrafted, they would probably be looking at items that have made from scratch by the maker. In the case of jewellery that would mean 'one off' findings etc that are unique to that one item. If you think about it logically though, most jewellery has to be assembled from component parts, so technically even the mass produced stuff has been 'hand crafted'.

It is all about keyword perception as well as keyword entry. That is what folks expect to find with their searches.
