Hi Scott
Is it possible or are there any plans to allow a customer/club member to buy goods using shopping cart but to pay on account rather than via on line payment using paypal etc.
We have club members who purchase items from our shop and put their purchase against their club account and then settle the bill at the end of each month.

This was great to read. I too need the program to support offline payments, either by order number or by advising of a bank account number for making payments directly into the businesses bank account. Will the pro version offers that as well (option to display bank account number for online banking)? I have a lot of clients that don't want the hassle of having credit card facilities.

Not too sure as we have not fully developed that component as of yet. I am sure it will be configurable.

Is there any possibility to modify the shopping cart script in that way that the credit card option is skipped for offline payments. This at least upto the pro version ?
Else I have to continue to use the formbuilder (which is less nice of course).

We sell home made self prepared Icecream prepared on request.

So far as I know, the BEST way to handle offline payments at this time, is to have the customer fill their cart, print it out/print to PDF and e-mail it to you. Then you can process it as you wish.

I know, it's not perfect, but it works.

If the add to cart could be turned off for a item then the HTML can be used just for that item. It can be treated differently even as a one off sale.

I wish to use CC-SCC to create a online garage sale I am populating a version I am working on but it is not as good as it could be with SCC. I did manage to solve my one off problem but I could also use that with the Add to Cart turned off (basicly no button or value showing)

My site is http://mrtworld.com I would love to use SCC to handle it fully. I do sell software and am thinking of having two shop systems but have not decided. I would prefer SCC as it is a cheap professional option.

Hi Scott
Just been trying some workarounds with offline payments.
For cash sales I use the shipping options box and added the descriptions "cash sale" and "customer collect" with zero shipping cost. The items are selected as usual and when you display the cart it totals the order and shows "cash sale" shipping £0.00.
The customer pays cash and then use the print cart to print a cash sale invoice. This works fine for offline cash sales.

Would it be possible to add an option on the base version at some time in the future to allow an option to email the order as well as print order.

This would provide a facility to allow online "customer on account" or "customer collect" facility which allows customers to raise an online order and then come in to collect the order and pay cash/cheque.
It could work as follows.
Customer enters order on line but instead of going onto online payment they email the order details with an option to have the order delivered as payment on account or customer to collect.
You would need to store an email address for the customer to send order to:
and facility to enter customer name and address.

I don't see an e-mail option coming anytime soon. Once we offer that, it opens a very large can of worms with email clients, servers and countless other problems.

So someday... maybe... ;)
