I placed several pictures on the other pages but they do not show up on preview. Is there a way to embed them into the site? Is there a way to put the pictures into the file and reference them?

How are you placing the pictures in there. Typically you want to embed the pictures and reference them on your server. Make sure you use the html insert tool.
